Hi,
You could try using an external (USB) Keyboard, or the on screen keyboard as a temporary measure.
It is likely the keyboard has failed and needs to be replaced. If you are happy with Laptop Surgery you could try uninstalling the keyboard and reinstalling it, but on some machines this isn't for he feint hearted. This might or might not work though, but is a possible solution.
