Hello Everyone,

I have a problem with my Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7046 running Win 7. it fires up perfectly, but about 2 minutes in, right as I start to do something on it, it completely freezes up. i mean absolutely nothing works. the screen doesn't even change. No mouse, no keyboard, ...Nothing! I'm at a loss here. I freaking love my (almost 8 years old) laptop. My Mom got it for me a month before she died for my birthday. This is a great computer and I have taken great care of it all this time. i just know what exactly is wromg and how to fix it. Could it be the motherboard? CPU? Graphics? can someone PLEASE PLEASE help me?? I do not want to get rid of it.

Thank you for reading this and your time.
A Sad Steve

Hi Sad Steve

Your laptop is 8 years old, although you have taken good care of it, parts wear out.

The problem may be caused by a number of things and it's difficult to tell at a distance.

Did you ever defragment your hard disk?

Lets see if this makes a difference:

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
