Bios setting chages

Hello,
hi i m not able to change the bios setting , my computer is stuck and i cant see the desktop , so i want to format my hard drive and reinstall the windows xp , when i go in to bios setting it wont allow me to change the boot sequence from floppy to cd drive .

hi there,


reset all to default save and exit

or remove the battery on the mother board and wait

for few minutes then replace the battery

this will reset the bios setting

then try again or press F8 or any other key displayed

but be sure installation disk is present in the drive
