How 2 use usb

Hello,
i bought a new phone of nokia 5130 xpress music model. everything is fine with it. but the problem is i am unable to understand how to tranfer files from my cell to my desktop using usb cable. i dint get any software c.d with my mobile. can u help me out by telling how to use usb cable to tranfer files from my cell to desktop/from my desktop to my cell.
