Red screen on tv

Hello,
when I plug my vga cable from my laptop (acer aspire 9300) to my tv (sony Bravia kdl-32s2510) the tv screen goes completely red. and when I use another laptop (compaq 6720) to the same tv I get nothing at all!!!!!!

please help

Yo.. if it red you just need to change the color balance.

If there is not picture showing on the TV you need to change the refresh rate on your computer to some lower like 60Hz
