Hello,
I've also joined the club of "THE VISTA-TROUBLED"

I bought a new laptop last week, with VISTA pre-installed. A day I would regret for a very long time. I have not stopped struggling since and have no time to work, as all my work depends on the computer.

It is unstable, SLOW, clumsy and an all-round PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who ever the person is that was responsible for this operating system should be shot!

I have the following problems. PLEASE, CAN ANYBODY HELP ME???????? I'm at the point of begging and crying.
1) Can not install Windows Installer.
2) Disk Defragmenter will not run. It starts and then just sits there for (up to 8 hours) unit I just switch it off.
3) My system is VERY slow. I have not even loaded 1/10th of the stuff I need (and had running on my old computer) and already I spend more time waiting, than working.
4) How can I get iTunes to run, have an iPOD, but no iTunes.
5) In the middle of an operation the DVD ROM will just open, all by itself!
6) Getting an error message when trying to format a DVD / CD
7) Had to install my HP printer for the second timme today (after printing happily for about an hour).
8) Have trouble opening OFFICE 2007 documents (something to do with not having the correct "file path / format).

The list is almost endless, but these are the most urgent.

PLEASE IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME WITH SOME OR ALL OF THESE.

Where is are the people responsible for this product (counting their money???)

Awaiting my salvation!!

Abel

Should have bought a better computer. Laptops are Shiddy unless you rake out the cash.

Been using Vista x64 for over a year, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. <PICNIC>
