PC recognized flash drive, but wont openClosed

Question

Hello, 
I have a PNY 16gb flash drive, and i inserted it into the pc, the computer knows the flash drive is in there, but it will not do anything to open the folders on the drive in any way, shape, or form. How do I retrieve the media already on the drive without returning it to the store i got it from?


Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.6

Please check whether the drive is available in My Computer and try exploring it.
