PC shuts off automatically

Hello,
im getting auto shut off problem in my PC without any warnings. i can work with my PC for an hour and more..the problem is when i strat some games it will off automatically within 15 to 20 Mins..i dont know why..it happens only a day before..Before that i can play my games morethan 3 to 4Hrs also....it suddenly happen..

my specs..Pentium 4. 3.07GHz with Hyper Threading technology...2 GB of DDR2 SDRAM..Nvidia 8500GT 512MB geforce graphics card...GiGABYTE 945 Motherboard.(OS:Windows XP SP3) Can anyone Help me PLZZZZ....i hope some genius can help me out....advance thanks

Well, firstly try this.

Go to Start> right click My Computer> Properties> Advanced Tab> Startup and Recovery Settings> System recovery> Uncheck Automatically Restart.

Then if it's having a software error it will bluescreen instead of restarting, which will give us an error to solve.

If when it restarts there is no error, I would guess that your computer is just overheating.
