Cd drive not working need system recovery

Hello,


I am trying to do a system recovery have cd but drive will not work does anyone know how I can just download the recovery without the disk ..wish I had funds to pay for help ..But I Don't single mom and working my tush off already .It is a old notebook Gateway 6720
Appreciate any help

Greetings,

If your CD/DVD drive does not work, you can hook to your netbook an external DVD drive, and you change the first boot priority at USB CD/DVD drive in your BIOS.
