My kids killed off the computer on the Acer Aspire one netbook that was using windows xp home edition and have wireless internet connections. Since we replaced the harddrive part, because there was no reinstall cd with this computer, we used my old compaq install cd. After install was completed there was no wireless internet, under device manager i'm missing. The windows is windows xp home edition as well.
Audiio device on high definition audio bus
-Ethernet controller
-Ethernet controller (listed twice on the list)
-video controller (VGA compatible)

i'm so stressed trying to get this working and I don't know where to download it without paying to sign up...help help help.

Gonna loss all my hair pretty soon.

You should be able to download the required drivers from Acer. Try the "support" page. If you download them on another PC and copy them to a flash drive you should be able to transfer them to Acer.

Good Luck
