Softwares license type

Dear All,
I just heard that, There are several software licenses,
1-OEM
2-Retail
3-Open License

So what are differently between those a bove?
If we prefer a license, which one should we go for among them?

I read some about the 3 license above, but i don't know exactly the meaning and if you could be get more detail is very good and appreciate.

When we are talking about OEM or Retail or Open License, it direction to only OS or we can talk about those license to the Software as Photoshop, etc... too?
