Do you have the Windows 7 installation disks, never installed on another computer and have a valid license key?

Remember that Windows 7 is no longer sold.

Sorry but unless you have the Windows 7 disks with a valid license key for Windows 7, you won't be able to upgrade from XP.

The best, if your computer can support it, would be to upgrade to Windows 8.1, but then you would loose all of your XP installed programmes.
