Problem on my pc when playing gta4

Hello, i m pranik ...can i run gta4 on my pc ...which has a specification .....intel core i5 ,4Gb ram ,windows xp service pack 3 , n nvidia geforce 230 .... n i installed game bt it does not work properly ...it run slow ...so what kind of setting should i do for that thing !!! Thanks

That means i have all specification proper ....bt why is tents to slow down ????

Try to uninstall and reinstall again

I have donw it three times ....but on start its slow .....and in graphic setting ....resource usage is 512 mb ...so what shld i do now for better experience ??? I want to play properly .....n yaa when i reduced its resolution to 800×600 it worked properly ...bt suddenly after few hours my pc got restart n misbehaving ....then again same problem happen 3 times becoz of less resolution of game ..so i uninstalled it now then my pc doesn't restarts now .....so give me the proper solution
