Dell xps laptop: problem with keyboard

Hello,

I have a dell xps, and at random times when I try to type, my keyboard will take over and type random things.

I have windows 7, and I need it fixed by labor day for school. What is wrong with my laptop and how can I get it fixed fast.

I suggest you test using an external USB keyboard. A successful test would point to replacing the internal keyboard.
