Accessibility of C and D drives in same system but different OS

Hello,

I have been using Dell inspiron 1525 laptop with Windows Vista OS, but last 2 months i could not open the system because of unknown reasons. So, I installed windows 7 and am using with low disc space as well as not possible to access the D drive. When I access that D drive, it shows Access Denied.

Please rectify this problem. I would be thankful if its rectified.

Are you logged in as the Administrator when trying to access it? It could also be a few other things but make sure you're logged in as the Admin. Check your security settings in the properties for your drive to make sure you have full control also.
