Hi Great,
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do. I would try recovering the lost data with data recovery software. I leave you a link with some tools suggestions. Do you believe the problem was caused by the USB drive? Was this the first time this happened? If you suspect this may be caused by a USB drive issue, I recommend you to format the device once all data is backed up.
