one of the best tools to connect to a server while working remotely!
What is PuTTY? PuTTY is a free Telnet and SSH client for Windows platforms that allows you to connect to a remote server from an Internet-connected PC. It has many configuration options, so a connection to any type of server is possible. In addition, it does not need to be installed because only the executable is needed.
Command line option: PuTTY uses SCP and SFTP clients, called "pscp" and "psftp" respectively to connect directly from the user's computer to another one via an Internet connection. It also supports connecting to multiple servers simultaneously.
Possibility of sending commands: this option allows you to have full control of the client-server. Thanks to that, you don’t need to move to execute any application located on the client’s server.
Security: to vouch for the safety of the transfer, PuTTY uses a combination of SSH encryption and Telnet clients. For that, the user needs to know some information such as the client's IP address and the password.
How does PuTTY work?
