Rank of numbers between specified range

Hello,


Dear Sir,

I have following data

Marks Desired Rank

91.3 2

91.4 2

91.5 1

91.7 1

90.0 3

89.4 5

89.5 4

82.3 6

82.4 6



I want to find rank accordingly as if student scores between 91.5-91.7 he gets 1 rank and so on.

Hi Talent.anand,

Create a separate table for all your ranks and then use VLOOKUP to pull the rank for a specific rank.

It's excellent, Thanks for quick reply and help. I am fully aware of vlookup but never thought of such a wonderful way to use it,
