For a few months, I have had the problem of not being able to disable my Comodo Firewall at all when I want to download a programme that it might prevent installation of. I can click on the dashboard and select it to disable, but it has a rather strange looking reaction when I do that, hard to describe, just sort of blacking out part of the dashboard temporarily and then it gives a popup asking how long I want to disable it. When I attempt to select one of the options, or even just click the button to go ahead with the default option, it will do nothing at all. Is there a way around this other than to remove it altogether and start with a new download of the firewall? I don't even know if that would work since it won't shut down at all and always comes on when I start windows 7.Please note, I am not extremely tech-minded, so would appreciate it if any explanation were simple and stepwise. I would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks.

Hi Budgie,

Did you ever think of contacting Comodo for support, especially if you paid for it.

Here is how to contact them:

https://www.comodo.com/support/comodo-support.php?track=9024#_ga=2.4621555.1582610780.1508623384-1721430259.1508623384

You may want to consider that what you wish to download might be malicious.
