UH, that defeats the purpose of GMAIL having the data center triplicated. There is no way to "archive" your account, unless you configure an OUTLOOK client, and administer the account settings, then you can get a copy!

I think it is possible via Outlook. if you set up Gmail account on Outlook it will automatically save your email on your computer.
