Cant download anything

Hello,
CANT DOWNLOAD anything
CAN run msconfig
etc


says cannot access device, path or profile - says do not have necessary permissions

cant open aol explorer
etc

cant open anything in control panel


reinstalling xp did not help - almost lost everything

hi,
this may be due to a virus.
download an antivirus, install it and then run it in your computer to remove any threat.
hope this solves your problem.
