Code works fine on 2010 but not 2016

Hello,
My company is having an issue we just updated our excel from 2010 to 2016, we have user forms that open a form to enter data but after we submit that data it goes and pulls from another source a template and is supposed to fill in the template. It works fine with 2010 but on 2016 it puts the data onto the workbook that opens the forms not to the template. it opens the template fine its just somewhere in the mix it paste the information onto the wrong excel file. The code to write to the template is below.
