Cannot format my pen drive

Hello,



i cannot format my pendrive because its write protected and i have tried regedit and it did't work so plz tell me how to overcome this issue and how to recover my pen drive...

Is this a brand new drive?

You may use check disk diskpart command to clean your disk drive and after formatting, it just create the new primary partition. After creating the new partition you will be able to use the drive normally.

Note: Cleaning drive will format the whole drive and you will lose your data permanently. In such case, you can download XXXX recovery - Home to get your data back from the formatted hard drive.

@nathan-The OP does not want recovery, so why even give out another product (I removed the product name from your posting)? Do you know if this drive is new, or ever been used?
