Select A5:A1000 (as your necessity)
Conditional Format Menu --> Using Formula -->
=AND($B5<>"", $J5="")
Format Fill Color as desired --OK
Is that what you want?

When a date is entered in Cell B5 I want Cell A5 to be "filled" and when Cell J5 has a date entered, I want Cell A5 to revert back to "no fill". This will be applied to all rows within the table
