Please help me with my hardware?

Hello,
Hello, my laptop says local area connection and it says "network cable unplugged" when i go into the properties it wants me to install something and wheni press install it says "select the network you want to install" and i have 3 choises 1.client 2.service 3.protocol no matter witch one a try it just comes up with "i need a disk forit" shoud i uninstall it and re install it? if i go to the troubleshoot it says "does your windows support your hardware" i dont know does it? or is my hardware on HCL? i realy need help with this please

Click "protocol" and make sure tcp/ip v6 is installed.
