hi,
you may try to do a system restore to the date which you purchased the computer.
go to safe mode (press F8 repeatedly when starting the laptop and then select safe mode)
>start
>all programs
>accessories
>system tools
>system restore
follow the wizard and select the first date on the calendar.
this will set your computer to the original settings.
note that all your files will NOT be deleted.
