Error message hard drive inspiron 15

Hello,

My laptop worked fine one day and then later in the day when I came back and restarted it I got this message and it won't run windows or do anything else. its a Inspiron 15 service number is 3mnr1f2

what exactly is the error message?

There is normally no fix for hard drive errors. You need to replace and reinstall Windows. Dell will sell you a hard drive with a cop-y of Windows on it. That's the least expensive option.

The error message is "no hard drive installed" but there is one. One that was working with no problem earlier in the day, before scheduled updates went through. Thank you for your help though!

That's what happens when the hard drive is disconnected or fails completely.
