My speakers wont work

hello there...please help me!!!...i also have the same prob with the others, however i tried several instructions. i went to control panel then sounds and audio device but the icons are not clickable...except for the ok and cancel tabs...i also went to the administrative tools to the component services ad services(local) its says that the windows audio is in started mode and automatic...but my speakers arnt working still...please help me...i'm kind of desperate around here....thanks.

Hye this is because your sound driver is missing! you should install it from your driver CD
