my speakers wont work Closed

Hello, 
i had to reinstall windows vista after a virus but now my speakers wont work,it keeps saying no audio device installed.my speakers r plugged in ok my sound card is ok keep going round in circles and nobody has been able to help me fix the problem. i no my sound card is --- genius sound maker value 5.1.     make of my speakers are--- technika
