Files showing, but no content

Hello, I’m trying to copy some files onto a flash drive I just bought. I was able to copy a few files no problem but anything else now it goes through the copy cycle and shows the folder on the pen drive but when I open it there’s nothing in it...I’v tried unhiding and using the cmd prompt attrib -h-r-s/s/d e:\*.* and still nothing. Any thoughts would be awesome. It’s a 2TB flash drive. The only thing I can think of is that maybe it’s fake
