Laptop display is broken

My hp beats laptop screen is cracked i cant see anything i cant even put in my password i tried everything thats posted up here and nothing works im thinking bout finding a way to master reset my laptop and then maybe i can do and im also using a ps3 hdmi cord im thinking thats the problem

Did you change the TV input to HDMI? After the Laptop Boots, press windows key +P , press arrow key down twice. Press enter. Did anything display on TV?

Well, not certain. Without an external monitor to test, you have to assume it is not booting. Take the ram out and boot. Does it show a different indication, like blinking lights, or beeping?
