Password is not being excepting on mobile device

I can log in on desk top for gmail but on my mobile device it wont take password. I need to activate my phone but can not due to that

It says wrong password
If you are pointing to the same account, and it says wrong password, the password is wrong. It is that simple.
Log into the account, and change the password to something simple, on the desktop. Now try with the phone. IF it works, then change to a more complex password, and change the phone to match.

Wished it were that SIMPLE!!!! Password has been changed several times and it still will NOT except it. I had to factory reset my phone and to activate it I have to use my gmail acct which will not let me!!!!!

Using your pc In Gmail go to Settings and then select accounts and scroll down to Change Account Settings. Go to Change password recovery options in the 'Change account settings' section.
