WD my passport external hard disk formatting error

hello,

I was using the HDD when due to battery failure the laptop power source was off and hence the backup was interrupted. after that when i reconnected the HDD it was neither reading nor i was able to format it(message showing invalid and need to format) as while formatting process it failed and error.

after using the command chkdsk G:/ it showed invalid parameters.
