LG smart TV seeking close captioning help

Hello,

I have close captioning (CC 1) on my 42" LG smart TV - and it appears right in the middle of the screen - right across the faces of people.
How can I get the captioning to be on the bottom or the very top?

I have tried the various options including cc 1-4 and text 1-2-3. Nothing appears on the screen with any of those options.

What is the actual model of the TV? There are about twenty 42" LG tvs on the market!
