Question about hard drive and system files

Hello,

Recently my computer crashed and is unusable from now on. Today I got my computer's hard drive back, it's in 'icy box' (it's like a external drive now and I can access to my files).
My question is can I delete my computer's system files and other stuff like that off of it? Since I don't have that computer no more.

If the drive if F: run FORMAT F:

THIS WILL DO WHAT YOU ARE ASKING, MAKING THE DISK BLANK!
