Changing my phone number if I have access to iOS apps

I tried accessing my email through the browser and it needs a two factor code, but it is sent to a phone number I no longer have. Is there a way to change the phone number (or get the two factor code) through my iOS mail apps on either my iPhone or MacBook which are set up for yahoo?

Hi,
Unfortunately, you cannot get the code to the iPhone's Mail app. However, it possible to change your phone number and deactivate the two-step verification, with the Yahoo Mail app.
In case you don't have access to this app, you can try to recover your account using the Sign-in Helper.
