Make sure to install the exact bluetooth driver for xp!
Reinstall or update your Bluetooth drivers from Device Manager.
Type devmgmt.msc to open device manager and update your driver.
You can even download the latest Bluetooth drivers (if available) from your notebook manufacturers website.
