Black screen even when I already turn the laptop on

Hello,
My Acer laptop which is Aspire V3-571G show a black screen even though the blue led light already shown on top of the on/off button. I already tried a few tips such as open the battery and try to turn the laptop on but it seems did not work at all on it. It had bother my day alot with this problem. How can I solve this?

After removing the battery and cable, did you press and hold the power button for 58 seconds?
