I followed the instructions on this forum but none of the sizes that are available on my screen options (i.e. 16:9, Wide Fit, 4:3, Screen Fit, Smart view 1 & 2) work with this TV. In fact they still all block out the sides of the screen and furthermore the words at the bottom of the news channels.
