As I know, Nokia X2-0 does support .mp4 format.

Improper codec configuration makes the .mp4 files unusable.

Try to use Format Factory to convert your files to .mp4. Follows such steps:
1. Download and install Format Factory
2.After installation, select "All to mobile device" from the left hand pane under Video menu.
3.In there, scroll down to 'nokia' ->Nokia MP4 320x240 MPEG4
4.Click on "ok".
5.Click on "add file".
6.Select the file you want to convert then again click on "ok".
7.From the main screen , when the file to be converted appears, select it and click on "Start" from the top menu(A big Icon).
8.After the completion of the process, right click on the finished task and select "Open Output Folder".
9.Transfer the file using Nokia Ovi or PC Suite.

Hope it will help

Hi,

MP4 format is probably not supported on this device. I suggest you look for video players on the app store that support MP4 format.

Please consider the device. IT DOES SUPPORT MP4. The display does not do anythin as the screen resolution is way under what any modern content is created in. No one creates any video of less than 480p!!! This device was placed into the market in 2010, that makes it a nine year old mobile device!

X2-01 does support Mp4. But you need to reduce the resolution of the video to 480 x 640 or convert it to 3GP format.
