how can i log in to my Yahoo account if I can't get the verification code cause I don't have access to my old phone.. or is there a way to log in without needing to verify the device that I'm using for the first time?
System Configuration: Android / Firefox 68.0

Try to recover access to your account using your recovery methods, such as your alternate email address or another phone number. For that, go to the Sign-in Helper.
