Hello,

So, as the title says, I have no input on HDMI.
Now the strange part starts:
Tried 2 different GPUs and 3 different HDMI cables, same result.
Tried connecting another computer to my monitor(also hdmi) and it works.
Tried connecting my computer to TVs and SmartTVs, it works.
PC with the HDMI connected to monitor however, doesn't work, even when plugged in before or after starting the computer.
The only way it works is:
Connecting PC to a TV via HDMI, turn on PC, HDMI is recognized and works on the TV. Now without turning off the PC, I take the HDMI from the TV and insert it in the Monitor, and, it works.
I've got no idea why this happened, all I know is that it happens with both my old computer and my new computer.

Specs:
i7 860 / Ryzen 5 3600
GTX 650 ti / RX 580
DDR3 12GB RAM / DDR4 16GB RAM
Old / New

HDMI is not a standard. Older devices may not play well with newer technologies. You have already troubleahot it to a funky monitor. It works on other hdmi inputs. So if it works with others, and not that particular one, then that HDMI display device isn't playing well.

Indeed it was the monitor, only realised it after pretty much buying a new pc part per part
