Hello, Hello, My Instagram will only allow me to upload images from the single camera folder on my phone but I have four folders with images. Google Photos on my phone has no trouble displaying all these so why not Instagram?

Anyone have a solution please?

I duplicated this from network/instagram to be sure it was seen. Sorry if that is a no-no!

Hi,

Try allowing Instagram to access to your phone's storage.

I does! It access a folder it calls "Gallery" which is actually the DCIM camera folder. But I have folders created by other apps such as screenshots, downloaded etc, four in total that Instagram ignores.

It seems that Instagram is unable to recognize all folders. However, there is an alternative solution.

Open your Gallery and choose the photo you want to use. Tap on the Share button and select Instagram.
