fingerprint sensor failure Closed

Question

Hello,
 i bought an hp pavilion, dv2500 with my operating system as windows vista home premium. The system is just 8 months old and i have been xperiencing fingerprint sensor failure for the past 5wks. Is it that the drivers for the sensors are bad or it is just a temporal problem. If it is the drivers that are bad please tell me how to fix it or download new drivers for them online.
 I will appreciate it

hi,

this may be a driver problem as well as an internal one.

since the computer is only 8 months old, it is still on warranty.

contact the shop where you bought the computer and they will get the problem fixed for you for free.
