Hello, I would have thought that it is more likely to be a setting related to Apple+. You can change your Apple TV settings by following these steps:
In Settings. on Apple TV, go to General >Accessibility > Subtitles and Captioning.
Turn Closed Captions and SDH on (or use the accessibility shortcut). See Add an accessibility shortcut to Apple TV.

Thank you. Now, how to get English audio to English subtitles. This is helpful to hearing impaired folks who can’t quite hear the English dialogue.
