Hello, I would have thought that it is more likely to be a setting related to Apple+. You can change your Apple TV settings by following these steps:
In Settings. on Apple TV, go to General >Accessibility > Subtitles and Captioning.
Turn Closed Captions and SDH on (or use the accessibility shortcut). See Add an accessibility shortcut to Apple TV.
