Hi all, I saw a reply concerning my problem, that is I can't access hotmail from my i pad.
I fead the 'fix' but I don't have a ' preferences' to click on to make the changes.
Can anyone help ? ipad using version 10.3.3.

Hi Steve,

Instead of selecting the Outlook logo, try choosing Other > Add Mail Account. Fill out the form, tap Next and enter the server settings:

Incoming Mail Server:
  • Host Name: outlook.office365.com
  • Username: your@email
  • Password: your password


Outgoing Mail Server:
  • Host Name: smtp.office365.com
  • Username: your@email
  • Password: your password

Hello, try updating your iPad to the latest version, to see if that has any effect.

If you could also link me to the other forum post and the reply, I'll have a look.

Hi David, Thanks for your quick reply, the same question was on this forum, I saw it tonight as I am trying to fix this.
Yes, I did try turning it off and on again, no sucess. I tried deleting the account and setting it back up again, but when I select 'new account' then 'outlook' it goes to a white screen with the search circle going round, and after a few minutes, stops and disappears. Then nothing but the white screen, then tells me there is a connection problem to the 'net (no there isn't) or talk to my browser provider ! I can't upgrade to a later version than 10.3.3, as it is an old machine and it does not support a later one. Or so it tells me !
