Whatsapp drawing bug / error

Hi everyone,

Since a while I have a bug in Whatsapp while drawing on a picture. When I use any color pencil, and I press anywhere on the screen to make a line or drawing, it automatically draws a line starting from a random angle messing up the picture.

I added screenshots:

1) I selected the pencil, now I want to underline the formula with Vx^2 = Vox^2 +2a etc.....

2) I start underlining from left and and you see the blue line coming from right under the screen before I can continue the line

How do I fix this?

Hi,

Perform a force stop and clear the cache of WhatsApp. To do so, go to Settings > Applications > WhatsApp and choose Force stop. Next, go to Storage > Clear cache.

If this doesn't solve the problem, update WhatsApp to the latest version and try restarting your mobile phone.

As a last resort, perform a backup of your WhatsApp data, uninstall the application and reinstall it. Then restore your backup.

I have the same problem, I have tried what u said but it doesn't work and I still get the drawing having a line coming off

Do you have problems with your screen, for example sometimes, it doesn't respond correctly?

If it works without any problem, I suggest you try reporting the issue to WhatsApp by opening the app and going to Settings > Help > Contact Us.

Inclue also the make and model of your phone in your report.
