Account reactivation

I recently erased all my information on my phone and I have been able to reactivate almost everything. I tried to login to my newest Facebook account and my picture came up in the bubble, I attempted to login and couldn't remember my password so I clicked on forgot password. I wasn't able to reset it and when I went back to click on my picture bubble it was gone. It just disappeared. I've tried everything I know to do, help me please.
