Hello,
Can anyone help me suggest why my CPU usage is 100% in Windows Task Manager. I m using WinXp SP2 for a long time and although i had my share of problem with Malware n Viruses, but this problem is really bugging me. Before this was not the case , once i had used my Hard drive from my other PC n set it as Secondary Master n ran both of them together. The one i had inserted had a Conficker worm called "" jwgkvsq.vmx "" , maybe someone knows. Malwarebyte detected it and erased it .On the next scan it did not detect, i thought it was clean.

From then onwards i started getting CPU usage 100%. Although i rescanned n did a registry check , nothing was found, can someone suggest why is this case. My CPU has become little slower on startup . I dont think it is a major problem but i know it is not normal either.

I would be very thankful, if someone could help me, or suggest me something. That is a New HDD in an old PC not even 2 weeks old.
