Notification popup shows a max number of 100

Hello, when ever I enter the IG app I get that notification popup that says how many likes /new followers/comments I got, It should show the number of all the new likes i got, but no, it only displays a max of 100 (in the popup) even if i got 1k+ likes it only shows 100 (same goes for follows and comments) also happens in the browser. Any suggestions? (See photos for more explanation)

Hello, unfortunately there isn't any way of increasing the number in the notification popup. It appears that each number is limited at 100, even if the real number is much more.

No I haven’t tried turning it on and off, but how do i do it? And why does this happen to me, because I see that it works fine for other people.
